Detailed Information

Plan a family reunion, a corporate retreat, or a couples’ getaway you’ll remember for years to come at the lakefront Sportsman’s Motel on the shores of South Turtle Lake. In this beautiful spot in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, you can spend your days boating, fishing, hiking, or skiing, and your evenings taking in incredible sunsets over the water.

This listing is for all five suites at the Sportsman’s Motel, a local landmark which has been welcoming guests to the eastern shore of South Turtle Lake since 1956. Today’s property has been thoughtfully modernized while maintaining its mid-century charm, with lakefront grounds that include a dock (with room for three boats), two rowboats, a fish-cleaning station, picnic tables, and a firepit for guests to share. There’s even a great coffee shop and a number of local supper clubs nearby to enjoy after a day of outdoor activity.

Each of the five suites features a beautiful view of the lake, wood-paneled walls that enhance the Northwoods ambience, and a vintage-inspired compact kitchen. A dining table, a wall-mounted flatscreen TV (with streaming capability), and high-speed WiFi are provided in all of the suites as well.

This home is a combination of The Sawyer, The Hoot-Nanny, The Feller, The Skybird, and The Sougan, all of which can be rented separately.
