Tomahawk Lake Hemlocks State Natural Area Hike

Friday, September 22 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Designated as a State Natural Area in 2007, the Tomahawk Lake Hemlocks is an almost purely hemlock forest with small stands of open bog and black spruce swamp, small bog pond, and approximately one mile of undeveloped lake shoreline.  Join WDNR Conservation Biologist Carly Lapin and NLDC Naturalist Licia for this fun morning hike! Please note that this will be a moderate to strenuous hike as it will be an off-trail hike through a hemlock stand. We will need to climb over/around some fallen trees. In total, we will go around 2-3 miles.

Registered participants will receive an email with trailhead location and other important info on what to bring that morning.  Friday, 9 AM – 12 PM.  Registration required by 9/20.  $35/Non-Member and $30/Member.
