Tall Trees Walk and Nature Craft

Join Naturalist Jenna on a hike on the Discovery Center trails to discuss the amazing tree species that tower over us in the beautiful Northwoods. From Paper birch to the tallest White pines, we will help you learn ways to identify tree species within the Northern Mesic forests, as well as share with you amazing ways trees communicate with each other. Following the hike we will each create a fridge magnet out of Paper birch and other natural items you can find on the forest floor. 

Saturday, 1 – 3 PM. Registration required by 8/24.  $20/Non-Member and $15/Member.  Participants will meet in the Forest Room in Discovery Hall at the Discovery Center.
