StoryWalk – Tudley Didn’t Know

Library Director Janelle Kohl walks through the woods reading the story of the week using interactive props. Kids follow along and help with the props. There is a themed craft which follows the story walk.

This week’s story: Tudley Didn’t Know

This whimsical story is about a pond-living turtle who adopts other animals behaviors simply because he doesn’t know he can t! Tudley flies like a bird, sings like a katydid, hops like a frog, and glows like a firefly. He uses all his special behaviors to help other animals. Will Tudley’s new friends help him when he needs help? The Creative Mind section has teaching trivia, crafts and games about the various animal adaptations.
