Nibbles N’ Knowledge: Underwater Photography with Jim Arnold

Underwater photography captures the beauty and diversity that can be found in our Northern Wisconsin lakes.  Join us as we welcome Jim Arnold, award winning local photographer as he shares his photos and experiences capturing this beautiful and diverse habitat.  Jim grew up on the shores of Blue Lake in northern Wisconsin and he thought he was an 8 year old Jacques Cousteau with his $9.99 dime store mask, snorkel and fins. Fifty years later he is still that eight year old now with more expensive equipment and an underwater camera. The world around him is where he finds his inspiration and tries to show the beauty in things that go unnoticed in our fast paced lives.

Thursday, 5 – 7 PM.  We will serve light appetizers and have a cash bar from 5-6 pm, program will run 6-7 pm.  Registration required by 7/11.  Program is held at the North Lakeland Discovery Center Main Lodge.  $17/Non-Member, $14/Member and $20 at the door for anyone who has not pre-registered.
