Garden Walks

Join Alexis, our Land Restoration Technician, for Garden Walks at the North Lakeland Discovery Center! Each walk will explore a different garden on campus and include a unique lesson! These walks will be held on the following dates:

• July 19^th– Be the change! Explore our new native gardens and learn about the ways in which you can create a positive impact on the land in your own backyard.
• July 29^th– Want to know more about sustainable gardening? Join us in the Discovery Garden to learn more about growing your own food and medicines.
• August 12^th– Come hang out with some of your local pollinators in the Bee and Butterfly Garden. We’ll discuss how to identify a variety of bee and butterfly species and learn how to grow their favorite habitats!

Garden Walks are free and open to all! We will meet outside the Discovery Center and start our walks at 1:00 pm.
