Climate Change Series: Northwoods Changing Wildlife

Join presenter and biologist Mike Meyer for our final installment of the Climate Change Series where we will focus on the changes that are occurring and/or are likely to occur in northern Wisconsin’s wildlife populations as measured by Mike’s research and other wildlife scientists working in Wisconsin.  Mike Meyer is owner of Nova Ecological Services which provides lake associations and property owners in Vilas, Oneida, Iron, and Forest County consultation on best lake management practices. Prior, Mike worked as a research scientist with WDNR for 25 years leading a variety of projects including the evaluating the impacts of climate change on northern Wisconsin lakes and wildlife.  At that time Mike also served as co-chair of the Wildlife Working Group of the Wisconsin Initiative on Climate Change Impacts (WICCI).   

Registration required by 8/21.  Wednesday, 6 – 7 PM.  $13/Non-Member and $10/Member.  Participants will meet in the Forest Room in Discovery Hall at the Discovery Center.
