Enjoy a bit of history while you dine and drink at this 1930’s Vintage Bar and Restaurant. The pine paneled building gives testimony to the resiliency of the original owner, Carl Christensen, the Manitowish Waters constable who was shot in the FBI shootout with Dillinger in 1934. Christensen built this property with the original funds he received from the government for his pain and suffering from 8 bullet wounds he received during the “botched” attempt to capture Dillinger.
