Summer Fun Itinerary

Wake up to the tranquil sounds of the northwoods!

Head to breakfast at Little Bohemia Lodge, have a great meal and a history lesson. They have a variety of seating, giving a family many options for a comfortable meal.

Pack up the beach toys and chairs and head to Little Star Beach. Located on Little Star Lake, part of the 10 lake chain, it is a great spot to enjoy the sun and sand in Manitowish Waters. It has a roped swimming area to keep the little ones safe. It also has plenty of room to beach the pontoon boat that you can rent from Greer’s Pier to explore and enjoy all 10 lakes. Grab lunch while you are there, their subs are perfect for a day at the beach and on the water.

If there is still some youthful energy left, head to the Manitowish Waters Community Center’s playground. It’s a wonderful spot to watch kids of all ages enjoy monkey bars, swings and excavators! Take a walk down the drive to check out all the airplanes that fly in and out of the airport and if you are lucky, you will be able to catch a plane taking off or landing right over your head!

To take a break from all the sun, take your car or boat to Aberdeen Lodge for a great dinner in a beautiful full log lodge. The huge picture windows give every table a great view of all the boats passing by on the channel or the majestic pines surrounding the restaurant.

After dinner take a sunset walk or bike ride on the many bike trails that Manitowish Waters has for all levels. They meander through beautiful trees giving the family a peaceful activity to end the day.
