Manitowish Waters has many things to offer when it comes to outdoor recreation. One of the most exciting times of the year for us is winter. Our trails are some of the best in Wisconsin, and the beauty of Wisconsin's Northwoods is hard to beat! If you are planning a trip to Northern Wisconsin this winter, it is imperative that you snowmobile in and around Manitowish Waters.
MANITOWISH WATERS SNOWMOBILE TRAIL REPORT
March 19, 2010, report:
The Manitowish Waters Sno-Skeeters snowmobile club reports that trails are unrideable at this time. Trails are closed until we receive enough snow to re-open. Many thanks to all of our landowners who generously allow the trails to cross their property.
As of March 12, Noon, the Vilas County state-funded snowmobile trail system will officially close, per Vilas Forestry Department / Snowmobile Program Coordinator Dale Mayo.
