In 1952, it was purchased by the YMCA in Waukegan, IL, and became Camp Jorn. During the last 10 years, new facilities & programs were added including a year 'round child care center. In 2007, the camp was purchased from the Lake County Family YMCA in Illinois and is now an independent YMCA.
