Located 1.2 miles north of US Hwy. 51 on CTH W, Manitowish Waters
Home of the Skiing Skeeters water ski shows (mid-June thru mid-August, Wednesday & Saturday, 7 p.m.). Restrooms, pavilion, public boat landing, parking area, picnic tables, grills, shallow entrance to sand-bottom lake, no overnight parking or camping.

Frank B. Koller Memorial Park (Rest Lake)
Located ½ mile north of US Hwy. 51 on CTH W, downtown Manitowish Waters
Home of Music in the Park Sunday Concert Series (late-June thru mid-Aug.) — Seasonal port-a-pots, parking area, public dock slips, fishing pier, shallow entrance to sand-bottom lake, picnic tables, grills, no overnight parking or camping. Manitowish Waters Community Playground
Located at the Community Center on Airport Road, 1 mile south of CTH W
Pit toilet restrooms near tennis courts 24/7 or inside the Community Center when the building is open, one-acre playground, sun shelter with picnic tables, Lions Pavilion adjacent to playground (request for use may be made with Town Hall), water fountain, adjacent ball field & golf driving field, horseshoe pits, tennis courts & paddleball court. Little Star Beach
Located approximately 3.5 miles south of CTH W off US Hwy. 51 on Park Road (turn across from the Catholic Church)
In 2009, the Town of Manitowish Waters took over maintenance of Little Star Beach (formerly maintained by the Dept. of Natural Resources). A State Park sticker is not required for your vehicle if you come by auto. Restrooms, picnic tables, grills, buoyed swim area, sand beach, hand water pump, parking area, no overnight camping or parking. Located on Little Star Lake, this beach/picnic area is accessible by boat via the Manitowish Waters 10-lake chain. Call the Manitowish Waters Town Office for more information: 715-543-8400
North Lakeland Discovery Center
Located 1.2 miles north of US Hwy. 51 on CTH W, Manitowish Waters (across from Rest Lake Park)
Restrooms, information center, amphitheater overlooking Statehouse Lake, 20 km hike/bike trails with benches located throughout the system.
The North Lakeland Discovery Center is a 66-acre, non-profit environmental educational center. The Center offers 20km of wooded hiking, biking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails, also perfect for birding treks. An 18-station self-guided interpretive trail traverses through the grounds, and you’ll also find a new 300-foot bog boardwalk along this trail. The Discovery Center provides year-round programming and special events for all ages to enjoy. This former YCC camp offers 11 rustic bunkhouses available with rental of the facility for private retreats, school & business outings, weddings & reunions. Other amenities include main lodge with kitchen, open-air amphitheater, fishing dock, recreation fields, and fire circle with tiered seating.
