One of only three fruits native to North America and Wisconsin’s state fruit, the cranberry plays an important role in our local and regional culture. David Bartling, a fourth generation grower at Bartling’s Manitowish Cranberry Company in Manitowish Waters, will bring you through the seasons on a cranberry bog. From early spring mornings, to cold winter days, growing the tart, red berry is a year-round commitment that creates what some call “the world’s most beautiful harvest”.
An evening of delicious nibbles and expanding your knowledge. Donation bar and complimentary appetizers and desserts from 5-6pm, program from 6-7pm.
Pre-register by 10/11.
